Reasons You Might Like To Have A Registry Office Wedding
"Advantages to think of when considering a registry ofiice wedding"
Maybe you have thought that perhaps you should have a registry office
wedding? Some have asked themselves that question, have answered yes, and took action to do this. Relatively
few people ever really take the time to think it through seriously. Most are convinced it is a lot harder than
it truly is, so they really never start. The aspect of possibly having to do a bit of work puts others off.
Others are too lazy to try, or lack motivation.
Now just hang on here a moment! Are those reasons really appropriate? Could they be persuasive? Were the reasons in
favor considered? Did both the Pro and the Con side get taken into account? The advantages do not seem to have been
It's possible that needs a tad bit more consideration... It's possible that we need to just consider a few good
reasons to have a registry office wedding and get a certain amount of balanced perspective in to the debate.
To start with, if you want a simple wedding with only close family
and friends being there and definately don't want a church wedding, a wedding at a local "Registrar of Birth
Deaths and Marriages" office may be the perfect wedding location for you. Right. You observe that there is a
lot to be said in favour of keeping life simple and if you have a small ceremony you will be able to spend
time speaking to all your guests and enjoying their company perhaps more than at a more hectic and much larger
ceremony. That's a good point. Nevertheless, consider that, some members of your family may want a bigger
event. Moreover there is the fact that you will, hopefully, only be marrying once in your life, so many people
do want a bigger occasion, or wish that the ceremony has a religious aspect.
Second, although your local registrar may not be able to offer you a
personalised ceremony (you should check before you book if this is important to you), in most parishes the proposed
poems or music at civil ceremony weddings can be somewhat flexible subject to scrutiny to ensure they do not
include any religous content, and the ceremony must be quite short to accommodate other couples booked after you.
That is because clearly, you cannot expect a registry office wedding to be a great deal more than an efficient and
"minimum frills" service. That's really the reason that, as so many have noted, if it is a slap-up wedding with all
the trimmings that you want, then you should not be considering a wedding at a registrar's office.
Third, the cost to get married in a registry office with the minimum
number of people which is usually two witnesses is a low as you will get, so if money is a problem you can
always have a registry office wedding. Additionally, it is a mistake to max-up your credit cards just for a
wedding if you have a low income and no parents to pay. After marriage you will have a lot of costs as you
build your family life together and you should think carefully before spending too much for this reason in
Fourth, they can be organised quickly and with the minimum amount of fuss and hassle.
And lastly, big weddings are not for everyone. The most important thing is that the
couple getting married get the wedding they desire, so don't be overly swayed by the opinion of close family. If
you choose a registry wedding you won't go far wrong. How could you go wrong, with your-life partner beside you.
Whatever happened at any ceremony it is your relationship together which is what matters the most.
So just look at those points and examine them in your mind. Those points strongly suggest that you seriously
consider researching ways to have a registry office wedding.
Simply roll that around in your thoughts for a while. Those factors were sufficient to convince lots of people
prior to you. Do they not also encourage you to have a registry office wedding?

Tips on Setting up Your Wedding Registry and Buying from Wedding Gift Registry
When you and your betrothed start adding items to your wedding registry, don't be afraid to add things that are
over-the-top, expensive, or just a bit elaborate. Focus on choosing items that you can both envision as part of
your new shared life together based upon your shared preferences, not the price tags.
When you are buying someone a wedding gift you should do your best to buy something that is listed in the
wedding registry. This is a good idea because people tend to put things they feel they really need on the registry
so you will not be wasting money on something that is of no use to them.
Register for your wedding gifts at least six to eight months before the big day. While this might seem like a
long time, people enjoy buying gifts early. This allows plenty of time for individuals to send gifts ahead of the
ceremony. It also makes sure that your registry is in place before any parties or showers
A tradition linked to weddings is the gift registry. For a pleasant atmosphere, you should make your guest
understand that they do not have to bring anything. Give them multiple options for gifts and a very wide price
range. People should feel comfortable giving you what they can afford bringing.
Using these tips and others like them will help you get to the alter with a smile on your face. You can make
the most of your day and the most of your budget and perhaps create a lifetime of fond
